Locust Floral is owned by Sarah Stracke, a concept-driven florist in Springfield, MO. I was hired by Sarah to create the music for the Locust promotional announcement video. The music was inspired by the sounds found in the Ozarks, flavored with a twist of contemporary electronic production. The music went through various iterations and landed where it is now. A calm, contemplative composition that mirrors Sarah’s creative process when foraging and arranging her florals. The video was shot on 8mm film by photographer/videographer, Henry O. Head.
